DOGS

Minor Puppy Dog ( 7 )

1st Drinkwaters Bardonhill Bertie Bott
Smart dog puppy of 7mths with a clean and balanced outline, head long and lean with correct eye shape and colour giving a gentle and soft expression. correct reach of neck set into well angulated shoulders, good front and well ribbed in body, short and strong in the back with gently sloping topline, stifles well let down with strong hocks, correct tail set and carriage. very sound on the move for a baby with positive front action and plenty of drive from the rear.
2nd Gardners Garden Stars Irish Unicum At Danwish
Bigger framed puppy than my winner and as such will take longer to balance out his frame. That said he is a typy puppy with a lovely head and soft expression, good bone and very well made in body with correct angulation to shoulders and rear quarters. His movement will tighten and steady as he matures.

Puppy Dog ( 7 )

1st Mugfords Lynwood Lark In The Dark
Promising dog puppy with a very stylish and racy outine. lovely headed boy with correct eye shape and starting to develop work over the brow. Good front with correct amount of bone and well up on his toes.Balanced in body, clean over the neck and shoulder line and good angulation to upper arm. Well ribbed up for a baby and short and strong through the loin. Correct topline leading into a well set tail, which he carried correctly on the move.Strong well muscled hind quarters which he put to good use on the move with plenty of drive in rear action. Best Dog Puppy
2nd Cuddys Aoibheanne Quite The Rebel By Balbriggan
Another quality puppy of good type. Not the body development of my winner at this stage but he has a very well constructed frame to fill and he will do as he matures. He is built on racy lines but with the correct amount of bone for his size.long and lean in head with good eye shape and colour. His shoulders and stifles have plenty of angulation. Gentle slope to his topline, good over the croup with correct tail set. He moved soundly but not with the positive action of my winner.

Veteran Dog ( 6 )

1st Lauwers Sh CH & Multi Champion Sumeric shadow of Mr Jingles
My notes say Wow what a superb dog! He was a pleasure to go over being full of breed type and quality. His presentation was immaculate with not a hair out of place. Striking in outline with clean flowing lines, he filled my eye. Loved his head with such a soft and gentle expression. Excellent front with plenty of heart room, correct amount of bone and tight well arched toes.Good length of neck set into well angulated shoulders. Deep and well ribbed in body, short and strong through the loin. Firm gently sloping topline. Correct tail set and carriage, Strong well bent stifles. He moved round the ring with tail lashing and keeping his balance on the move. I found nothing to match him untill I got to the open dog class and thought he would be my CC winner, but in the run off for the challange I just felt my younger open winner showed a little more strength and flexibility in rear action on the day. that said I was more than happy to award him a very well deserved RCC.
2nd Davis Moyna Summer Breeze At Corribeg
I found this quality male so well balanced both standing and on the move. So good to go over with a lovely head, showing raised brows and plenty of work. very well made in body with good front , deep chest and ribs carried well back. Correct shoulders and very strong well made quarters which showed in his powerful movement. lashing tail action on the move enjoying his day to the full.

1st Gisbys Suteresett Mr Cool
This very handsome young male caught my eye on the initial look round and once I managed to go over him I liked what I found. Lovely outline with clean racy lines, but he still has the required bone and substance that balances his frame. Most appealing head, being long and lean with plenty of work over raised brows. Good front with correct heart room, ribs are deep and carried well back, elbows well tucked in. Strong gently sloping topline and correct croup. Tail well set and he carries it straight off his back on the move. His shoulders are well laid back and has good lenght to upper arm. Wide powerful quarters with plenty of muscle. Very good mover with positive front and rear action. shall watch his career with interest.
2nd Danks-Kemish Alolfran Inspired with Time

Deep in body and well ribbed, short and strong through the loin. Correct angulation to shoulders and rear quarters. His topline is firm and gently sloping, tail well set and carried on the move. Open Dog ( 12 )

1st Gisby & Pikes Sh CH Suteresett Milky Way With Scarletti
I loved this male for his breed type and quality. He caught my eye when I first looked around the class and did not disappoint when I went over him. Racy in outline but still has plenty of bone and substance with a rugged appearance. Such a lovely head with the softest of expressions.Correct front with plenty of heart and lung room. Well ribbed and deep in body, short and strong through the loin, excellent quarters with good length from hip to hock and short from hock to rear pastern. Excells in shoulder which are correctly laid and have correct lenght to upper arm, which gives him long forward reach in front movement. Gently sloping topline, good croup. His tailset and carriage is excellent. He powered around the ring with great drive and animation and I was thrilled to award him the CC. At only three years old I am sure that he has a great future ahead of him.

Judge

Sharon LIttlechild

Bitches

I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge this show and for the hospitality that my co judge and I received. We had great pleasure judging at this lovely show.

I had two very capable stewards that made my task of judging easier and thank you to Mrs. Blackshaw for photographing the exhibits for me.

I feel honoured that so many quality exhibits were there for me to judge. The decisions in most classes were very close. I feel that the breed is full of quality animals.

My co-judge Mrs. Sharon Littlechild and I were in complete agreement on the BIS, RBIS, Best Veteran, and Best Puppy.
